An overview:
Authorisation & data capture on request For certain business types (for example antique sector) it’s necessary to manually verify authorised payment in order to check whether the products can be delivered to the customer, e.g. an antique shop selling unique pieces in both his face to face and virtual shop.
With Ogone you can either manually capture the payment whenever it suits you, or predefine the time lapse between authorisation of the transaction and automatic data capture.
Recurring PaymentsMuch of the time-consuming tasks associated with recurring payments (such as regular billing, subscriptions, credit instalments…) can be alleviated with Ogone. Recurring subscriptions can be processed via batch file processing as often as required. These payments can be debited from a customer’s credit/debit cards and/or from bank accounts. You can vary or standardise the amount to be debited each time a payment is due.
By collecting payments automatically you'll improve cash flow and save on the many costs associated with chasing late and forgotten payments.
In order to facilitate your recurring payment management you can use different Ogone ad ons, such as ‘Automatic File Transfer Proxy (AFTP)’, a file transfer application - and ‘Ogone Alias Manager’.
Split Payments Offer your customers the possibility to pay their online purchase with an online voucher or gift card and settle the remaining amount with a payment method of their choice.
Scheduled PaymentsWith Scheduled Payments, you can offer payments by installment over any set period of time. Ideal for companies offering the possibility to pay for goods and services at pre-determined intervals over X amount of time.
Alias Management (Tokenisation)
Makes it possible to replace card numbers on the merchant’s site with tokens. Geared towards recurring billing, one click shopping and stage payment billing it provides the merchant with the facility to register card details manually or automatically. Once registered, a token is generated and provided for use with all subsequent transaction requests ensuring no card data need ever be stored on the merchant’s system. This feature has the added advantage of simplifying the PCI DSS compliance process.
